Yikes! It’s November Already

Where does time go? Even after gaining an extra hour yesterdayso I could sleep more – I still don’t believe it’s November already.

Gazing Out the Door

Oh well. Enough of that. Y’all will be pleased to know that I HAD A GOOD TIME on Howloweenie. For the first time in my 9 years, I didn’t bark when people came by.

The peep and I actually sat outside – I made Her wear my spider headband and Him wear my devil’s horns headband – and gave out candy for about two hours. I didn’t go nuts or tried to eat anybody as they came up Our front steps. Though I could have tripped a few. That would have been kinda funny. What a trick, yes?

Wonder why I didn’t care? Maybe I’m getting old. Naw. That’s not it. I just didn’t feel like it.

And you know I don’t do something when I don’t feel like it.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  1. I barked but it wasn’t the same like efurry year… it came to soon somehow… I mean yesterday summer was in full swing and tomorrow we have christmas… something is wrong with that time… bet it’s doped :o(

  2. with age comes less hearing and less seeing – maybe that is why didn’t notice them πŸ™‚

For the first time ever we had no trick or treaters. It was a sad Halloween. I think there were bigger things going on at the firehouse and rec center that all the little beggars went to.
Glad you enjoyed the kids Stuart.
    Thanks for being a friend

Sometimes it’s not worth the energy to bark…we understand !
Our Halloweenie was spent at a park…Tampa Bay Scottish Terrier Club had a cool (well really warm) picnic ! There was games, puppy treats and costumes !!! Think the peeps had a jolly time too. We acted real nice…well, I (Mac) did lots of ArOoO’s cause I was so happy ! We even saw a black snake wiggling across a path…(scream) so, we waited till he slithered into the woods never to be seen again. (!)
Next big day is …TURKEY TIME ! Can’t wait…we will get pumpkin puppy treats then !!
Stay sweet Mr. Stuart…no, not from eating candy…β™₯
    Toodles !! L&M

Our village had activities all day long.it didn’t stop anyone from trick or treating up and down our street. Sidney hasn’t lost his hearing and the voices of children annoys him.

We had a lot of fun because kids and some of their peeps came by in costume! My peep wanted to dress me up as Snoopy and have me wear his leather flying cap! I told her to forget about it, I am a proud Scott and I would have none of it! βœˆβœˆβœˆπŸŽƒπŸš€

Oh Stuart my critters almost barked their tails off every time the door was knocked on. I think next year I would like a special door bell that screams when you press it. Well done for being “mellow”
