I think I’ll be staying home on Saturdays. All that virtual travel I’ve been doing over the years has just worn me out.
So, today I’m snoopervising. As I like to do on Saturdays.
I mean, if I don’t yell at the postman, who will? Somebody’s gotta do it.

About The Scottie Chronicles
Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!
Awww….Stuart I love you! You make me happy. Be Calm and Bark On!
Great work! He needs to be reminded just whose territory he’s in.
Yep! You sure told him oh boy! Great job Stuart. You’ve still got it!
Why the post person waved at you Stuart. My mail carrier keeps treats in his pocket for me. But he only brings me the junk mail.
Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
I thought you were barking to get the mailman’s attention so he would wave hello to you, but after he waved you kept right on barking! Too funny, Stuart! Snoopervising requires good strong lungs and, boy, yours are! ๐
Love & hugs,
McDuff & Mom
You tell ’em, Stuart! Andy and I had to go to the Dogtor today for our annual physicals. We are doing pretty well. The Dogtor put her finger someplace that we did not like, but I showed her and tooted right in her face. Mom thought that was rude, but I thought Dogtor Shauna had it coming. Have a great day in the outdoors. It’s too cold here for us to sit on the porch. Aroooooo
there is no place like home – there is no place like home ๐
Way to go Stuart! Lucky you being outside without a leash when the mailman comes by…. I get to see him when I perch on the sofa and look out the window. Gee… he never waves at me ๐ฆ
Your Pal,
Ozzy

Good work, Stuart! After Helen played it for us, we went outside and did some barking of our own. We sit in the window and bark at Bob, our mailman.
Yeah, ya gots to bark da mailman.
Well done Stuart!! I kept tryin’ ta get in the iPad to join ya, butt could’nt get in there๐
We’re so glad your doing your job, Stu! You have to keep order in your neighborhood–even your mailman appreciates it–that’s why he waved! So happy you’re sticking close to home because you’re needed there to snoopervise! Lots of work piled up for you when you were doing all of that traveling! The neighborhood needs you, just like we do–to keep us on track and to keep our spirits up! You’re doing a fine job, Stu! Thanks for all of the time you’re putting in on da job!
Lots of lick-ey kisses to you,
Riley-Puppy and Tessie-Girl
I think the postal workers are afraid to face Kaci and Kali and never show up. They put the mail in something called a common mailbox on the main street a couple of houses away. They do get to “welcome” the newspaper guy in the morning and sometimes the FedEx truck and/or the UPS truck. There’s the garbage thief on three days. I don’t think they miss the postman at all.
Stuart all the Girls here joined in to make sure your postman got the message loud and clear!
Nice job Stu!!!! I tell my postpeep the same thing!!! Oh, and the UPS, FEDEX,AMAZON …..
gotta remind them who’s boss! โบ
Kisses,
Ruby โฅ
hey wait… that post guy waved with something…. that means he has a parcel for you, right? so you probably should wait till he has delivered your parcel before you eat him :o)
You saved your family again. Good work Stu!
Best ArroOOOOing yet although you have sent a couple of confused aussie dogs rushing about wondering where the barking was coming from. โค ๐
Humphrey heard you ‘barking’ and after i picked him up – he watched your antics with the mailman – was very impressed – keep up the good work!! Protecting the neighborhood from the mailman (who does seem to like you though).. Humphrey & Cherry
