So I didn’t have to soup up these fotos for today because I think they’re kind of cool all by themselves.
It was Fido Night at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens last night. So, I took the peeps with me to see the gazillion lights they’ve installed for the howlidays.
But, before I show you those pictures, check out this little movie. I can be soooo snotty. That’s me: Stuart The Snotty Scottie. One who’s more interested in sniffing a guy’s shoe than chatting with other dogs. What a hoot.
Oh me.
Now, back to the pictures. The foto fun.
Why do people shave their dogs? I can’t even tell if they’re Scotties or Westies. Isn’t that awful? They were cute, though. I think they’re Westies.
The dad peep and I walked under a rainbow of lights. The theme of the light show is “H2Whoa” so this exhibit is about rainbows. Duh. Notice how I’m walking on my little “balance beam” even though it really isn’t a curb. Wonder why I like to walk on narrow walkways and curbs?
There were TONS of dogs there. Sometimes I just don’t give a hoot about other dogs. I really don’t mean to be rude, but I am. Sorry.
At least I’m interested in this pretty wheatie! A Scottie for sure!
This is a pretty one.
OK. Enough for today. Come back tomorrow and I’ll show you some VERY COOL things from last night. Whoops! I just gave away “Where In The World?” Saturday for tomorrow.
Yikes.
Stuart, those photos are sooo fun!!! The movie is grrrreat! We are supposed to be aloof, so yer just doin’ You! We can’t tell what those poor shaved dogs are either. So exciting yer night out with all tha lights, and such!! Thanks fer the fun😍
Pee Ess – I always walk on balance beams too! Woot!
What a fabulous adventure you had Stuart!. I wouldn’t say you were being rude or snotty, not at all. You showed yourself to be more mature and well behaved, you didn’t lunge at the other dogs the way they did to you. You walk a good balance beam, too! McDuff does that, maybe it’s a scottie thing. Anyway, it does our ♥♥ hearts good to see you out and about 🚕 with your peep, having a good time! 🎆
P.S. Did you and the pretty wheatie sniff butts?
Love & hugs,
McDuff & Mom
BOL. Nice lights.
Don’t give my peeps ideas about shaving birds. A bird without feathers is ready for the oven. SQUAAAAAWK.
Very pretty, Stuart. I don’t know why Scotties like to walk on balance beams and curbs. Kipper fell off the curb the other day so you be careful!
We don’t shave our bodies, either. Mom strips us and we don’t like it much, but we get a lot of treats for it. Beautiful pictures! You are lucky to be able to have something like this to go to. Your Peeps are the tops!
Ha Ha! Everyone wanted to meet you Stuart but you just trucked along!
Glad you got to get out and about!
hugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
I sure did! Hey….I tried to bark at you again. No luck. Phooey.
Great outing Stuart! You are very well mannered, no lunging, just trucking along in your lane, taking it all in. Glad you found someone interesting to talk to!
Well that’s a good way to look at it!
Wowsers!! That is, Bow-WOWSERS, Stu, Those are such fun and wonderful photos and movie you are sharing with us!!! Thank you! It is so nice to see you “Out and About” sniffing all dos doggies and looking just wonderful!!!! Looks like you had so much FUN!!! It looks so Christmassy too! My sis, Tessie likes to “tow the line” like you when she walks, too. She even used to jump up on walls when she was a pup. You know, those Westies’ Peeps maybe have a groomer who doesn’t know how to groom dem. Good groomers are hard to find for us in So. CA. because we’re, (Westies and Scotties), not a popular breed out here for some crazy reason!(?) We really can’t understand WHY! Mum sez WE’re VERY POPULAR with her an’ Dad! And YOU are VERY, VERY POPULAR with all of US!
Thank you so much for the great time you gave us looking at all of the great pics and da movie!
You’re a real Movie STAR….and our IDOL! (Swoon!)
Hugs, Licks, and AR-r-o-o-o-os,
Riley-Puppy and Tessie Girl
Fido night! What fun! Those lights look beautiful and so do you! 😀
Stu, you are putting us in a bad light. We don’t behave as well as you and we definitely don’t walk as well as you. Now she has something else to complain about. We thought that you would have our backs. THANKS A BUNCH
SIDNEY, SHELBY, AND SOPHIE
Oh My Stu..i live the way you just kybosh the pooches for a shoe bwahahaah..and snooty or refined and selective??? as for the balance beam well why walk like a commoner when you can have an edge..in fact i think they made it for you especially 🙂 we loved seeing you and the lights and the peeps having a nice stroll with their bestie 🙂 Loves Fozziemum xxx
Stuart I’m with you… I prefer shoes too :o) how great that you met so much pups there… and that was nice to invite your peeps to such a cool event … I bet they enjoyed your invitation :o)
BOL Stuart, you would rather smell some stinky feet than say hello to those other doggies. Too funny. Oh, those poor Westies with all their fur shaved off! Don’t people realize if yu strip the fur correctly, it shortens a bit?!? And that shaving is terrierible for the undercoat of fur? That Wheatie Scottie sure looked cute…hubba hubba, buddy!
Oz
Walking on the tight rope must be a Scottie thing, I’ve done it since forever. There is one “(in)” Human on my rounds who gets all torqued out of shape if I jump up on his wall though. I don’t any more, and dad flipped him the bird of peace…
Love! Stu you are such a nice boy around all those dogs! What lovely lights! Thanks for sharing.
