My computer guru was over yesterday and today updating my system and doing all the things I don’t know how to do. Thank goodness for computer gurus, right? I thought, while he was here, I’ll ask him to update my phone and my laptop.
Look what I found on my phone that I’d forgotten I had! Turn up your sound!
How could I forget this sweet little movie?
That little voice. I miss him so.

About The Scottie Chronicles
Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!
What a find! And today I really needed a Stuart fix; and I got to hear him! Wow!
Thank you,
McDuff & Mom
Glad to be of service!
I love that tail wag too.
My gosh, isn’t it the cutest???
awe!
Awww is right!
Love that Scottietude!
HelllrrOOoooo Toby and Banks!
I need more than just five seconds. Every once in a while, when I need my Kyla fix, I watch this feature
OMG, that video of Kyla is too precious for words! How lucky you are to have this. Bless her heart.
And we were lucky to have her. The peepstress feels lucky to have had Stu and he wormed his way into our hearts also.
Love this too 🙂
THIS is soooooo cute. I love it. Thanks so much for posting Miss Kyla.
A.Dor.A.Ble! What a find for both of you. Love it when her ears stand up and her Scottie Squat!. Duffy does the squat, but not Andy. Thank you
Stuart never did the squat. Girls are good squatters! Isn’t that precious??? Love it.
Shelby had a lot to say to Kyla. The intonation was the best that I ever heard from her. Love a blast from the past and it was great to see another flat bottomed Scottie.
A flatbottomed Scottie – what a hoot!
sounds like my late great brother Angus too. – Ainsley McKenna, CEO Angus Fala Worldwide Enterprises
What a gift!!!
Indeed.
What format is that in? I can’t get it to play darn it. The last several you posted I couldn’t play either. What is wrong?? I so want to see our little Stuart. HELP….
It’s a “mov” – OMG – I don’t know how to fix it! Send me your email address and I’ll rename it and send it??? StuartTheScottieAThotmail.com So sorry!
a wonderful arrrrooooo…. miss ya my friend… although I have to admit that I first thought Whiskey entered my bed room… he talks in arrrrooooo’s to me to… no wonder he is a terrier :o)
He does? How cool! You’ve got an “ArOOO” pal!
Told you Stuart would come to you in all sorts of ways…. to find that 5 sec clip is just priceless!!!
Ozzy and Callie’s Mom
And you were right! Thanks!
Ahhhh sweet!
Lily & Edward
Thanks pals.
that was a sweet arroooooo
Indeed. A sweet ArrOOOO to his mama. He was the sweetest.
Such a giftlet ! The magic of video…sunshine on a cloudy day. Mama’s phone just blew up 4 years of photos…gone period. So guard this video clip with your life….everyone, backup your photos and videos, or you will end up like Mama, who was bereft.
Oh my Lord. How awful! I’m so sorry to hear this. Make her feel better Skyler.
What a sweet video!
Sweet from the Sweetest.
He was such a sweetie! We haven’t heard an Arooooo since Elsa left. She was the one who would get them all 3 going. Wish I would have recorded her. You know, Stuart will keep popping up here and there as he won’t want anything about him to go unnoticed, yes? Thanks for a Thursday thrill.
You are so welcome. Sweet Elsa. I’m still so sad for your loss. And you’re so right! He has popped in from time to time and I’m confident he’ll continue to do so. Thank you!
Was that a chortle, a coo, like doves would make…a purr? Gosh, dat was so darn adorably cute! It just made our hearts melt with happiness to see our Stu moving and vocalizing! This is just precious! Did he used to make that little sound often? It sure sounded like it was a sound of love, comfort and contentment as he looked up at you! We played it again and again, and will continue to do it. He gave you such a loving and satisfied glance and wag o’ da tail as he gave his little chortle or whatever you’d call it. What would you call his little love sound? For a minute we thought that he was going to break into an Aroooo! Thank you so much! That totally made our day!
Happy you got a Guru/”nerd” out to help you out. I don’t think even a Guru could help me!
Love and chortles,
Riley-Puppy and Tessie-Girl and Mum
That little chortle was indeed a love note. He was telling me he was happy and having a good walk. His voices were carefully chosen to communicate whatever he was thinking and feeling. Believe it or not, he could get very, very “pissy” and he let you know it, too! So glad your day was totally made! Thanks for the friendship.
That is so cool and precious! Well, you know how Royalty can be very exacting because they are SO special, so yes, I believe you that Our Stu could get very “pissy”, and we who love him very much, would naturally overlook it just because he IS so SPECIAL! He is Precious AND Adorable! It was so special and heart-warming to see him moving and talking again! Thank you so much! (P.S. I sent you an email did you receive it?)
It made me happy to see him again, too. Checking email now!
That was a Made My Day moment. Thanks for sharing. Shelby loves all of the videos.
Those videos of Stu and Kyla are really reminders that life is just too darn short.
Too darn short is right. And not fair. Nothing’s fair. But anipals deserve a life that never ends.
I love Stuart doggie noises. ❤
I do too! Sometimes he arrooooed in his sleep.
squeeeeee!
Nice. Word on the street that is exactly how Stuart conveys to the wait staff at Angus Fala’s boiled egg and ice cream parlor at the Rainbow Bridge that he wants a single scoop of French Vanilla with hamburger sprinkles. = Ainsley McKenna, CEO, Angus Fala Worldwide Enterprises
OOOHHHHHHHH!!!!! I can see and hear it now. Thank you for this. I love your news from the Bridge.
aaww – it was like he was sending a ARROO out to you for finding that video. How precious that is my friend! XOXO – Bacon
He was wasn’t he? Nicely put my porcine pal.
Mom got lost in that clip and played it over and over. It almost looks like an app that colored Stuart but we know that is his birth given decadence. That is truly a treasure! We then heard her mumble she must get a video of us “talking” which we have been doing more and more of lately.
Oh, you Scotties speak a similar dialect to us Cairns! That is a fantastic find!
Aweeeeeee….. talkies!!!!! SWEET.
Wags,
Ranger
Dunno, everytime dad logs in here, his eyes leak… Then he snuggles me, and I DO NOT SNUGGLE…
OHHHHH How wonderful to find. It made me cry but so happy to see Stuart 🙂 What a treasure 🙂
