Watercolor Wednesday

Here we are midway through Scottish Terrier Month. Must be time for some StuART.

Here’s one from one of our birthday adventures. Yesterday was hard. I didn’t go on an adventure alone, but I do appreciate all of your comments. You’re right. I wouldn’t have been alone.

StuMan would have been right there beside me.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

How nice to see Stuart enjoying a quiet moment at the water’s edge watching a friend swim by!

  2. I wish I would be there with you too… we could catch Donald Duck together :o)

    • And I know we would. Hey…I saw a Weimaraner last night in our neighborhood. The first time I’d ever seen one around here. I thought of you. He wasn’t as handsome as you, but I thought about of you anyway.

“Hey there little ducky – come on over so we can talk”, heh, heh, heh. We know what you’d “talk” about, Stuart. He was a tease wasn’t he, yes?

We love dis watercolor of you and da pretty Swan! We found out dat Swans can Hiss cuz we went to a lake, and a Racoon was washing sumting in da water close to da Swanner and da Swanner threw, shall we say a “Hissie-Fit” at da Racoon! Well, we were staring in awe, from a distance with Mum holding on tight to our leads…but we didn’t budge….not even crazy, macho-man brudder Riley, cuz we got a whole new R.E.S.P.E.C.T. for dat Swan! Did Stu get hissed at by dat Swan he’s contemplating in da watercolor??
We loves da beautiful watercolor StuArt! Thank you, Sweet Peepstress for filling our days with happy memories of our Stu! Sorry you had a Ruff day yesterday on Stu’s Birthday, but we know Stu was looking out for you and holding you up! Yesterday you were, and always are, in our thoughts and hearts and prayers.
    Love, Barks and Wags,
    Riley-Puppy and Tessie-Girl
