I’m sure they smile together when they read our posts and they shake their heads when they see the tears what run over so much keyboards of blogville…
Beautifully nut Easy!
Agreed.
What a thoughtful tribute
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
Forrest was a well loved friend to many in Blogville.
Sweet William The Scot
Love seeing all of the tributes! Ours is over on our cat blog because a certain Sheltie wouldn’t cooperate to enable us to use his tail or his paw….Grrrrrr…………catchatwithcarenandcody
Too many have gone over the bridge to play…… Arooooooo in tribute to Forrest
Oh Nan i know these two guys are wreaking havoc..we miss him until it hurts to breathe some days but know he is with us always..we tried to do him proud and i hope he is looking over us and wagging that Tail of Mass destruction..much love and thankyou for your live support and kind words..it helps heal a hurting heart ..Love Bev and family xxx
“Hurts to breathe” is such a true way to capture the pain. Wallow in it until you’re ready to wipe away the tears and smile at the memories. I should take that advice to heart. With much love and hugs to you and yours, Nan and the Dad Peep
Nan we all are good at the advice :)..be kind to ourselves i think..love to you and Dad Peep xx
Very appreciated Bev.
Always here..xx
I’m sure Forrest and my sister Mouse Girl are over the Rainbow Bridge with Stuart having a ball together my sweet friend. Hogs and snout kisses! XOXO – Bacon
A beautiful tribute indeed. Yes, so many have left us and traveled over The Bridge, but let us imagine the ‘Welcoming Committee’ they have formed to meet and greet Forrest and welcome him into the pack where fun and friendship await him.

I’m with the program and did the best I could.
I loved the photos on Forrest’s blog. What a great idea for a tribute!
We did not know Forrest too long, but such a tribute made us wish we had known him longer. He seemed so sweet and had a very loving family. Based on the gray furs he had it appears he was loved so very much for a long time (but it’s never long enough, we know). Thanks for posting.
He was going to be 13 in August..those frosty furs started quite young..maybe 6 or so..each year a few more..except when he got bitten by a snake two years in a row they kind of got whiter..as would my furs !! I used to tell him he had a faxe like a racoon 🙂 xx
13 wonderful years together. That’s special!
It sure is! Survived two deadly snake bites and being born in a puppy farm he survived so many hangups…lucky us..and Doc is still with us and 14 in Oct..so we have been blessed..our kitties are all old too and our sheep..like living in a nursing home 🙂 🙂 xx
How lovely that Forrest has Stuart to greet him!
What a fun place that Rainbow Bridge Playground must be! I’ll be excited to see it when it’s my time, and to meet up with My Darlings who’ve gone there! It’s so sad to lose our furry, adorable, irreplaceable Pals…..actually it’s devastating! I’m glad we have each other to go to for support and empathy, because, God knows, we’ve all been there! So I ask God to help Forrest Green’s earthly family who loved him, and who are now inconsolable. It is so hard. You are in our prayers for strength. Please rest in the knowledge that Forrest is playing with all of our Angels we all have lost, and that we’ll all meet again, because God is GOOD!
Love and prayers,
Riley-Puppy, Tessie-Girl and their Mum
Thankyou my sweet friend for your loving words..we know Forrest is now where he could not be in safer hands..no worldly things to tie him down..he can fly as free as he likes xx
AMEN!
You know, only the ‘earth body’ leaves. The sweet soul stays in your heart for eternity. Still ‘hurts’ so deeply when our furry babes are called away. We all do understand only to well ♥

Thank you Nan and Dad peep. I see happier days ahead! 😀
We never had the chance to meet Forrest. The past few days are the first time that we heard of him. All of the friends of our friends are special and we extend our sympathy to all of his family and friends.
What a lovely tribute to Forrest, I love his picture, that gray face and sweet brown eyes…The sadness of their loss is what we pay for the privilege of having them to love and be loved by them while they were here with us. May all the happy memories of Forrest help in easing your pain.
