Wags and Waves for Forrest

A Tribute to Forrest – I’m waggin’ my tail (too bad I don’t have a photo of THAT!) Thanks to Sharon and all who made this happen. Stuart is ArOOOOing with Forrest and waggin’ his tail a lot today!

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

A beautiful tribute indeed. Yes, so many have left us and traveled over The Bridge, but let us imagine the ‘Welcoming Committee’ they have formed to meet and greet Forrest and welcome him into the pack where fun and friendship await him.

We did not know Forrest too long, but such a tribute made us wish we had known him longer. He seemed so sweet and had a very loving family. Based on the gray furs he had it appears he was loved so very much for a long time (but it’s never long enough, we know). Thanks for posting.

    • Fozziemum says:

He was going to be 13 in August..those frosty furs started quite young..maybe 6 or so..each year a few more..except when he got bitten by a snake two years in a row they kind of got whiter..as would my furs !! I used to tell him he had a faxe like a racoon 🙂 xx

  12. How lovely that Forrest has Stuart to greet him!

  13. lauramarec says:

What a fun place that Rainbow Bridge Playground must be! I’ll be excited to see it when it’s my time, and to meet up with My Darlings who’ve gone there! It’s so sad to lose our furry, adorable, irreplaceable Pals…..actually it’s devastating! I’m glad we have each other to go to for support and empathy, because, God knows, we’ve all been there! So I ask God to help Forrest Green’s earthly family who loved him, and who are now inconsolable. It is so hard. You are in our prayers for strength. Please rest in the knowledge that Forrest is playing with all of our Angels we all have lost, and that we’ll all meet again, because God is GOOD!
    Love and prayers,
    Riley-Puppy, Tessie-Girl and their Mum

You know, only the ‘earth body’ leaves. The sweet soul stays in your heart for eternity. Still ‘hurts’ so deeply when our furry babes are called away. We all do understand only to well ♥

  16. corkscot says:

We never had the chance to meet Forrest. The past few days are the first time that we heard of him. All of the friends of our friends are special and we extend our sympathy to all of his family and friends.

  17. Elizabeth Davis says:

What a lovely tribute to Forrest, I love his picture, that gray face and sweet brown eyes…The sadness of their loss is what we pay for the privilege of having them to love and be loved by them while they were here with us. May all the happy memories of Forrest help in easing your pain.

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
