Another installment of Friday’s Foto Fun. This one needs no funny business from my end.
Meet Dr. Watson, who’s waiting patiently for the terrier group at Westminster. He makes me smile THIS BIG.
There he is. Just waiting. With his head resting on the sofa arm. How cute is that???
On another note, thank you for the kind words from yesterday’s post. We’re definitely going to take them up on the offer to “borrow” the schnauzers.
And did I tell you? Toby might be visiting again for a longer visit.
Lastly, to the question many of you have asked, there’s a Scottie in our souls. We’re waiting for Stuart to send us a friend who needs us. And I’m sure he will. Just like BoBo sent Stuart to us after he passed.
Thank you for caring. If I could “ArrOOO Rooo” to you, I would. Consider it done.
the mama sometimes has tears in her eyes when I look just cute…. that’s confusing somehow…
I know Stuart will speak to your heart when he found a friend for you.. :o)
You’re so right. He will speak in that way of his. You’d make my teary too if I looked at your handsome face every day Easy!
What a great shot of Dr. Watson. Is he as interested in the hound or sporting groups, too?
The news you’ve shared about borrowing the schnauzers and having another round of Toby Time is wonderful, but we are most thrilled to know you are waiting for Stuart to send you a friend in need of a good home! That you can be sure he will do, and it will be a very special Scottie since Stuart would want nothing but a most deserving dog for you both. So…as they say…Stuart will be paying it forward. β€πππππ
McDuff & Mom
I wish I knew more about Dr. Watson!
Yes…The Scottie “chip” has been embedded in the Dad Peep’s and my soul.a. We’re in no rush. But the thought is there.
That’s how we got Kyla. The requirements were a terrier who needed a home. It didn’t matter about age or gender. The first one who fit the bill was Kyla and it worked out marvelously.
Kyla. What a gem.
Dr. Watson makes my heart happy! And your news makes my heart happy, too. π
He makes my heart happy too. One can only go so long without a friend in the house. A Scottie friend. And we’re in no rush at all.
Angel Stuart is probably keeping a very close eye out for some pup who NEEDS you as much as you need him….it will happen…..Stu no doubt is being VERY particular – after all, you’re his family!!!
Love, Sammy
I think he is being particular – you’re right. It’ll take some time and we’re in no rush. It’s all a lot to take in. Thank you!
ah, we’ve just gotten lost in the rabbit hole of admiring old pictures and posts of Stuart, now through blurry, tearful eyes. We had tried to find the post about how Bobo sent Stuart, but can’t seem to find it…loved that story.
Edgar and his mum
I’M LOOKING FOR THAT ONE TOO! I’ll find it. We think alike. It’s such a great story. Thanks, pals. The Peepstress
Looks interesting

I missed the dog show! Glad Dr. Watson watched it for me.
Absolutely ADORABLE photo of Dr. Watson watching Westminster!!! Also very happy to hear that (1) you will take the offer from your wonderful neighbors to “borrow” the Schnauzers, (2) Toby might come for a longer visit, and (3) that you are thinking of getting another Scottie. This will be mutually beneficial relationship: You need another Scottie that you can love, and there are Scotties out there in need of a loving home, who will give back love and happiness. Enjoy the Holiday weekend!
Thank you for these thoughts. Have a good holiday weekend, too!
Bow-Wowsers! Dr. Watson sure knows how to get comfy to watch the Westminster Dog show! This picture is so special! Dr. Watson is so Smart!
How wonderful that you will have Sweet Toby back for a longer visit! He is so a-dog-dorable! Sounds like he really loves your tender attention and care! How lucky Toby’s Peeps are to have you to care for their sweet Baby!!
Stu is very happy, we’re sure, that you are opening your home to a fellow Scottie! How nice that Toby can help fill in the void till Stu sends you a special Gift!
Tears.
We never miss Westminster! Me N Andy bark at the screen while Mom tells us to be quiet!!!. It’s quite a raucous evening at our house! Stuart is watching over you and sending you vibes to welcome others!!!!
Yes he is. I believe that, too.
Just got to the computer – crazy long day. Ozzy & Callie are very pleased when I told them your decisions, one better than the next! Great mindset to start the holiday weekend. We are full of Arooos here on LI
Mommy
I hear those Arroooos all the way down to Virginia. Keep it up!
PS – they told me you should get two! They keep each other company and it’s just so much more fun!!!
Double to trouble and double the fun no doubt!
My three have no interest in TV watching. We are happy to hear that you will be baby sitting again. That is how mom got her first Scottie. She might just blog about it.
Please tell that story!
A little late because my computer was acting up this past week. Dr. Watson and I give big thanks and a big Arrrooooo to all the nice comments about him watching Westminster. We love following the Scottie Chronicles and the stories about Stuart.
