RIP Orange Squeaky

It’s gone now. No more squeak.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

When there’s a “favorite” toy it’s always good to have a back-up supply, exactly for these situations!

Yup, that’s what terriers just love to do….kill da sqeak! Riley and Tessie don’t stop on new sqeakers ’til they are good and dead, sometimes ripping out the squeaky inside! We need to look for tough squeakies because sometimes they only last, at most, a half an hour after they get them new from the store! It is their “quest” to get that squeaky! Riley picks sqeaking the loudest ones when we are watching TV. We have to turn on the captions on the TV so we can hear the dialogue. He goes into his toy box and rummages around and just when we didn’t think there were any toys with squeaks left in them, he brings one out and parades around the family room announcing that he “is present and, guess what he has found!?”
Squeak on, sweet Toby, Squeak on, (that is after you find a lively Squeaky!)
Thank you for the darling video of Toby!
    Lots of Love,
    Riley-Puppy and Tessie-Girl and mum
