Bless You Dr. Watson

Friends, please send your love to Dr. Watson’s peep. He crossed the bridge – in her arms – on June 7.

Dr. Watson

We’re bound together by our love of these marvelous companions. My heart is aching.

Here’s to you, sir! May you watch Westminster with joy! Forever!

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

    • Thank you my dear friend. I was on my way to feeling better. Then, I learned of this sadness, THEN….I just came home from running an errand and heard Stuart give me a little “ruff” as I opened the front door. Just like he always did when he heard the key in the lock. Can’t stop crying. ((((Hugs))) to you back.

Thanks and blessings to all Scottie Chronicle followers for the kind words and love expressed for our beloved pets. I’m in deep grief with this recent loss and even though I can envision my Dr. Watson romping in squirrel paradise with his Scottie pals, it’s a tough time. Big Love and Dog Bless to all of you.

    Dear peep,
My heart aches for you today learning the sad news of Dr. Watson. I, too, held a beloved dog as she closed her eyes for the last time before we could reach the vet. I believe that Dr. Watson and my Cindy while cradled in loving arms and hearing soothing words from us was truly the best way for them to make their final journey across the Bridge.

    Hugs, 💔

Not another one. Kyla went out not in arms, but her way, eating treats. Now we’re all having a Kyla moment. You’re having a Stuart moment. Our sympathies to Watson’s peeps. Elemenatry.

  5. oh dear…this is getting to be a bit much 😦 perhaps the Bridge could press pause (paws?) for a moment and give us some respite.

We are so sorry to hear this about Dr. Watson! He surely is Free and Happy and free from what pained him on earth, but we know it is only the beginning of the sorrow and void left behind for his pawrents who are left behind! Please take heart that Dr. Watson is very Happy and free from pain and in great company with all of our Fur Babies who are there with him to welcome him, play with him and wait with him until his Pawrents come to meet him!
May God strengthen you and console you during this terrible time! We are with you.
    Love,
    Riley-Puppy and Tessie-Girl

So sorry that another beloved pet has crossed the bridge. The little wooden boxes on my night table bring me solace. I tell them to play nicely together as I shut the light every night.

Many Thanks to everyone who commented on the passing of my beloved Dr. Watson. His paw prints are forever in my heart. You all know how tough it is to lose the physical presence of our loved ones. All of your comments are filled with love and knowledge of the deep relationships we have with our pets. BigThanks to the Scottie Chronicles for giving us a forum to express our love.
