WWSS? “Sweet.”

What Would Stuart Say about this little movie?

“Sweet. You’re the man, Toby. I knew I sent you to visit Them for a reason. (As I’ve always said, I’m one smart Scottie.) You just continue to keep Them on Their toes. Pull out any plants you want. Because I said so. Don’t worry, They won’t care. They’re just glad to have a Scottie around again. (Granted, you’re not moi, but you’re a fine specimen.)  It’s too bad we never met, but, hey, I’m around. And I see what you do. Keep up the good work.”

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  2. yes, you are a terrier… and you have to work on that “terre”… what was next to that pot? a mouse hole? hope you found a real treasure there :O)

I (Duffy) was just out back doing something similar before Mom caught me. I don’t think she was happy about it since I will probably throw up something later. But, hey – you go Toby!!! Stuart would LOVE it!!. Us terriers know our earth.

  4. Toby, you go pal! All your antics and terrierness appreciated I’m sure!

  5. rjkeyedup says:

We knew that Our Stu would approve, and that his nice Peeps would approve too, because, well, no. 1: You can’t say “NO” to a Scottie, and Stu knows this, and no. 2: How can you stop a determined Scotsman?? Anywho-arrooooo, we are extremely AMAZED at just how VERY energetic Toby is!! Riley (age 3) and Tessie (age 4), are “younguns” compared to Toby, yet he is so much more active! Now, Tessie used to be like Toby, up until age 2, and Riley who we adopted at 8 months was past his digging stage, we assume, because, though he was peppier than Tess when we adopted him, he did not dig like this. Tessie dug everything in sight when she was under age 2. Now they are both slugs comparerd to Toby who is older! I do not recall exactly how old you said Toby is, I think you said age 13, but Toby is sooooo arroooo PEPPY! We wants to know the secret to his vim and vitality! Just what is the recipe for his food that you said Toby’s Mum, left with you while he was visiting you. We’d like to try it to see if we get the same results! Golly gee, Toby puts us to shame BIG time!
    Very impressive!
    Kisses,
    Riley-Puppy’s and Tessie-Girl’s Mum

    • Your memory serves! Toby is 13. As of last March. I, too, continue to be amazed at his peppy-ness. That’s a good word.

Boil up some boneless, skinless chicken thighs, put them in a food processor and add a bit of the boiling liquid to make it a bit mushy, then pulse until it’s thoroughly shredded. Add in some peas, carrots and/or green beans and you’ll all set! You can also add some brown rice if you l like. The recipe is usually 3/4 protein to about 1/4 vegetables.

Is he available for landscaping jobs? Good job Toby!! I have never had any help from mine Scotties. Stuart would approve of Toby.

    • LOL!!!! We’ll send him to visit you and take care of that landscaping project. Stuart would only dig to make a cool place under a bush to sleep OR when he needed to get to a critter and the plants were in the way. BoBo loved to dig.

  8. Kismet says:

That vegetation was certainly wrong. It needed landscaping.

  9. Pam says:

    Serious gardening skills!
We like to empty flower pots and then lie in the pot.
    Bonnie n Kenzie

  10. BOL! I do the same thing especially after I chase a critter and it gets away!

  11. gentlestitches says:

The peeps enjoy some gardening help Toby!😃

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
