I SQUAAAAWKed at our mail peep and he laughed for 15 minutes. Embarrassing.
Hoo Boy! We is SO hot dat we’re gonna have a very hard time doin’ our homework, Teacher! Mum has to prod, bribe and drag us just to go on our walkies. We has to go very early in da morning and as da sun has set in order to try to beat da heat! We is in our 5th year of drought and no end in sight!
Pant, pant and a lotta whining, (by Mum, mainly, cuz she Hates HEAT!)

McDuff here: Since I said I would pay close attention to my peep if it involved food, I did just that last week. She made a pound cake the other day and I was sure to sit right by her as she got all the ingredients together. I watched her sift flour, crack eggs, and heard the whirring of the mixer. I made sure to lay down in front of the oven door, which I had to move from when the timer rang. The kitchen sure smelled delicious, and so was a small piece of cake she gave me later on when it cooled down!
I really, really paid attention and I hope I get a good grade.

Kali taught me how to catch rabbits two years ago. We caught and killed five in two days. Dad peep said “no more” as he didn’t like prying dead baby rabbits out of Kali mouth. So, now we have to be on long leashes in our own backyard. No Fair!
Our mailman was shamed into giving the older two treats. One of his other customers told me that the mailman always gave his dog treats. When I confronted the mailman, he went out of the way to give Sid and Shelby cookies. Now Shelby barks at every mail truck that goes by our house.
yes, summer is not there for being just lazy, I agree :o)
