Watercolor Wednesday – In the Rushes

in the rushes

Welcome to Watercolor Wednesday. Where StuART is the focal point of the day. Some new StuART is in the works, and here’s the first unveiling.

Does he see a creature in the depths of the Currituck Sound? Is there a duck skimming the water?

Or is he just bored?

You decide!

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Beautiful picture of Stuart. He was intently watching something.

  3. WestScott says:

Gorgeous picture of Stuart! Clearly he’s lost in some very deep thought, either trying to solve some world problems, or formulating a strategy to catch a squirrel, or contemplating when he’ll get his next snack and what it will be, or perhaps all three!

Oh, Stuart was never bored or boring. He just messed with your mind at times! This is a beautiful rendering and you should blow it up and frame it.

  5. What a great watercolor of Stuart!

What a beautiful selection for today! So peaceful and pensive! There is Our Stu, on the “Other Side”—On the Rainbow Bridge side–looking across the water missing you and hoping you’ll realize he is fine, and how he wants to tell you that he is waiting for you, but not to worry about him because he feels GRRRRRREAT, with no pain or limitations, and oh, yes he wants you to know he has wings now, and the most miraculous thing is—that they work, and he can fly when he wants to with all his pals who are there, and they have a glorious time!
Love to you, and thank you for the gorgeous StuAart that started my reminiscences of Our Stu!
