Yes, Scottie Scholars, your summer break is almost over and each of you is to be commended for studying hard while class is in recess.
Meet Rufus:
Rufus is fierce, as are his furry neighbor pals. Between them, no squirrel dare venture near their kingdom. However, Rufus, being the ever vigilant Scottish Terrier, and Scottie Scholar in search of some extra credit over the summer, decided he’d disturb a few moles and voles by digging his way through the earth.
Looks like he’ll soon be halfway there.
Good job Rufus. Move to the head of the class!
If YOU’VE been doing your Scottie Scholar Summer Assignments, send the Teacher a photo of your work: StuartTheScottieAThotmail.com.
Class resumes after the U.S. Labor Day Howliday.
he is a MOLEcular biologist , right? :o)
Now that, Rufus, is a fine example of a Scottie’s determination and competence! Go get ’em!
McDuff & Mom
Rufus, stop it. You’ll be in China if you keep it up.
Wowsers! We better get crackin’—Rufus is putting us to shame! Mum sure “digs” his tail and cute butt! He sure is digging hard!! We has to go out and do sumpin! Oh, we forgots to mention dat Riley thinks he can fly when he goes after big Crows and Mourning Doves dat fly away when he runs to catch dem!!! Dus dat give him any credit? Tessie just runs after him but doesn’t try to fly, like Riley! Oh, yes, how could we forget! Riley brought us 3 baby mice into da house 3different times, and let dem free in da kitchen, and Mum had to catch dem and take dem far away into da canyon behind our house to release dem!! Does dat count for any credit dis summer?
Tessie did some clean up work for her Daddy and Mummy–she jumps on Dad’s recliner and cleans up his snack crumbs from his pretzels or chips that happen to land on his chair seat after he gets up, so his chair and da floor around da chair as spotless cuz of Tessie’s clean up! Hope dat counts for summer credit, Teacher.
Rufus sure is cute!
Thanks for showing us hard working,Star Pupil Rufus!!
