That little nose just makes me happy.
Something else made me happy last night. And it wasn’t easy, but the sadness didn’t last too long. Last night was the last night for Flowers and Fidos after Five at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
Lots and lots of dogs to see wandering about the flowers. In the back of my mind, I was wishing we’d see a Scottie. No luck. It was too darned hot and most Scottie lovers knew that and kept their beloveds at home. In the cool. Frog-dogging on the AC grates.
In spite of all that, the Dad Peep and I got lots of licks and love from lots of pooches last night.
We’re missing a physical Scottie in our lives while cherishing our two Scottie souls who guard us every moment of every day.

Sounds like you are getting close!! We almost went Thursday as we have this ‘strange’ Scotty that likes the heat!! Don’t ask – he is something else again.. He is our newest after losing two this past year only5 months apart– we know what you are going through – but come on along and believe and see about a ‘new face’ in the yard!! Yes, my pretty little nose is pink. My dogtor says for my peep to be careful of me being out in the sun too much. So, she is thinking of getting me doggie sunscreen she saw on Amazon – NO NO NO, you know I will just lick it off. I have such a long tongue that the tip hangs out of my mouth sometimes when I sleep.
