Woot! It’s Wednesday! Time for some StuART. Or, in this case, time for some BoBo, Stuart’s predecessor.

He was a puppy mill pooch and our first Scottie. We rescued him at four months and it took years for him to let us pet him. Animal abuse is disgusting.
Y’all have a grreat Wednesday.

About The Scottie Chronicles
Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!
yes that’s what it is… disgusting…. Thanks to you for being so patient with Bobo and for giving him a home full of love…
You’re kind. He was a funny little boy. Loved to eat pizza and chicken wings.
BoBo was a beautiful boy! And like Stuart, he had the good fortune to be chosen by you and the dad peep who provided unconditional love and support in order for them to be happy, well adjusted Scotties. God Bless you both!
Something really needs to be done about puppy mills and the monsters who run them!
McDuff & Mom
Thank you! He was special. As was Stuart. As are you and your pooch pals. Down with Puppy Mills!
Sweet Bobo! He was a Beautiful Boy, too! The despicable people who treat these Precious Babies like this is beyond my comprehension! I, too, am grateful Sweet Bobo found his way into your hearts and home! 💙
What can we do about people who abuse? Animals? People? The environment? It’s too much. Thank you for stopping by.
Most dogs come around. Kaci is getting better. She used to be scared of anyone not in the immediate household. Earlier this month, we had guests and she was OK with them.
Oh, I’m so glad to hear that! Trust is a hard thing to earn when you’ve been mistreated.
Rescue dogs are special…. think they know they are! Thank God for your love and care for Bobo Peeptress …
They must. I agree. Thank God he came into our lives! Thanks for writing. As always.
Love this! Your “Bobo” is special to me because my first cat, my soul kitty who passed at age 18 in 2007 was also named Bobo. (((hugs)))
OH! A wonderful story! Our BoBo was 16! Here’s to BoBos everywhere. Hugs back a’cha my friend.
At least we know he had a great life. Our Kendra wasn’t a puppy mill pup, but wasn’t socialised in her first few months. It did affect her for the rest of her life in many ways.
It does affect them, doesn’t it? Stuart wasn’t socialized as a baby. Hugs to your babies. I still can’t comment on your blog! GRrrrrrr.
Andy is a rescue and we think from a “p” mill. He is 9 and is just starting to not be so skiddish when we go to pet him. He still won’t come to us…..we have to go to him as he runs to sit in a corner, but that may just be the Scottie in him. Bobo was exceptionally lucky to have found you and Mr Peep.
Pat that sweet Andy for us, will you? Y’all are the best.
Yes, it is disgusting! Thank doG Bobo found a home with you♥
You’re so kind! Thank you!
And he wound up being so loved

Oh…I’m going to cry.
Bobo was so lucky he found you. I don’t even want to know what could happen to a puppy only 4 months old that would take years for him to allow you to pet him.
Here’s hoping that everyone reading will contribute to Stuart’s Fund and will help spread the word to others so they can contribute. Looking forward to wearing my t-shirt!!!
Thank you so much!!!!! The T-shirt drive is open until midnight October 12! You must send a photo of you in your shirt!!! All the best, The Peepstress
We never did understand what happened to BoBo. He was a such a wonderful friend.
