No, it’s not Thanksgiving, though “Thankful Thursday” is usually the title of that post in November.
But it could just as easily be Thanksgiving here at the Dad Peep’s and my house today.
Because of your sharing, caring and giving, a donation to Stuart’s Fund in the amount of $1,007 will soon be on its way to Blacksburg, Virginia, to help Dr. Nick Dervisis and his brilliant staff at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
Let’s just wrap our little heads around that for a moment:

Never in a million years did I think I’d ever create a special fund to tackle hemangiosarcoma. I’d never heard of it.
Never in a million years did I ever think that Stuart would pass so suddenly at such a young age after having a zillion tests only months before during his annual dogtor exam. Never.
Never in a million years would I see myself as a canine cancer fundraiser, but here I am.
There’s one thing I do know: in a million years, I know I can count on you.
For that, the Dad Peep and I are truly Thankful. On this special Thursday.
Thank you. If I had two back feet, I’d frog dog right about now.
