Don’t make me any madder than I am already.
Today’s voting day here in the U.S. and I’m sick and darned tired of THE worst presidential campaign EVER.
No matter what side of the fence you’re on – really? there’s a choice? I think not – you must exercise your hard-earned right to vote.
Too many people fought and lost their lives for all Americans – and I MEAN all Americans– to have the ability to choose a leader by vote.
I’ve got a friend who forgot to get an absentee ballot from the last state where she lived. Now she’s got NO VOICE. That makes me mad.
If you’re into praying, please pray that we all come out of this in one piece (in spite of the shenanigans that have taken over normally rational people).
If you’re into meditating, meditate about it.
If you’re into chanting, do that too.
No matter what you do, do it. But be sure to VOTE. Too many people in too many places in the world CAN’T vote.
Here in River City, our mayor won’t win by popular vote today. He’ll win if he wins 4 out of 7 districts (or something like that). The leading candidate is infected with the “sext” disease like so many others (think Anthony Weiner). And he’s been known to carry an AK-47 in his car trunk. Just to prove a point. Sex with a minor? Sure, that, too.
WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE COME FROM AND WHY ARE THEY IN PUBLIC OFFICE????? AND WHY DO SO MANY OF THEM DISRESPECT WOMEN???
YES. I’m yelling. Emails? That’s hardly anything to quibble about is it? Over and over and over and over again? Give it a rest people.
This is a train wreck and reality TV at its worst. How the heck did the Greatest Country in the World get to this point? While I’d like to think that this circus is going to finally be over after today, I fear that the loser and the loser’s supporters are not going to go away quietly or graciously.
agreed…. their hatred and overbearing natures are disgusting.
I’m with you all.
Mommy voted early this am!
She says all the time – It’s our most precious right! And all went smoothly at the polling site so now she has more time to play with me. Aroooooo
Well, THAT’S good news. More playtime is a good thing!
“4,000 people are waiting in line to vote in Cincinnati right now. This is how long the line is” was a twit from a man standing in line Sunday at the Hamilton County Board of Elections. The line went clear down to the stadiums. Sarah Palin was at the Anderson Hills Pub & Grill but hardly fill the small room. I’m in a swing state!

If you’re a swinger, you should be running for office and not merely just voting.
I voted early by mail and beat it out of town.
SWTS
Ohio saw 1.8 million voters cast ballots during the early voting period, which set a new early voting record for the state.

I’m still stuck on your being a swinger. To each his own. WHAT A HOOT!
I voted. May I take the clothes-pin off my beak now?
Oh lord. Yes. Take it off. But I’m glad you put it on. I know some others who did the same thing.
Amen!! You tell ’em!!!!!! I voted and I voted to protect all pussies in America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOO HOOOO!
My momma are gettin ready to go vote. And lets just say, #sheswithher.
I knew I loved your momma.
I had back surgery on October 18 and sent my vote in by mail the day before my surgery. My Daddy fought in WWII for my right to vote and I won’t dishonor him by not voting.
THIS IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!! Love it. Bless your Daddy. Mine too.
Sadly, we missed the voter registration window when we arrived at our new home in TN recently. My sister, way out East on Long Island, said she was number 100 on line to vote early this morning. The place was packed!
My son in AZ, said it wasn’t too bad since they have early voting there, which he chose not to do.
Sigh…
McDuff & Mom
I’m sighing with you. Yours in spirit.
Yes I voted this morning. Took me 45 minutes from the time I stood in line until the time my ballot went into the counter. And yes very poor choice of all of them. One disrespectful of women and one disrespectful of everybody and the rules. But it all is supposed to go away with a what does it matter wave of the hand.
But you VOTED!!!! Thank dawgness.
Good luck to our friends across the pond. Whee hope the result is to your liking
xx
Mom says too often the public at large has been apathetic about this precious right to vote and elect a worthy person (from whichever party). Now that things are as they are we are stuck with what we have by not paying attention. Perhaps this is a wake-up call for the country. Mom worked in the election office this election and she said it is sad how many people don’t understand the specifics of voting….what registering even means. It appears Civics is not taught anymore in school and our social media craze has erased much of this from our brains. We pray for the country and hope for the best. God Bless America, Please! (and love the patriotic Stuart)
PS – also thank you to the veterans and all our service men and women for protecting what we have. We know they sacrifice much.
your neighbor got my nod.
