My New Place

I went to see my new house today. Let me show you:

The 2-legged ones brought this rug over. It doesn’t quite fit. It’s the only room without carpet. I don’t think I like carpet.

This is my new backyard. Small, huh? I don’t think I like that either. At least I have a place though. It’s called a patio. I’d call it a petite patio.

Boy this grass is high. I do like that! And the 2-legged ones don’t have to cut it!

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a dog blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. He would have been 12 years old in March 2018. The Scottie Chronicles is dedicated to Stuart and the joy he shared with everyone who met him or saw him from afar. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Oh, Winston, your new home looks lovely! Wait till you see how the two-legged people fix it up. It’s nice and sunny, looks to be in very good condition, and ‘the pack of three’ will settle in and it will be just fine. Thank you for the preview of the ‘before’. We look forward to seeing the ‘after’.

  2. Winston, I’m sure you will add some touches to make your new home your very own. My Mama says carpeting it not my friend.
    Your pal,

Winston, what will be your new home looks very bright and sunny, and look at all that window acreage you have with the sliding doors overlooking your new patio! If you were one of my guys, you’d end up spending all the time when you weren’t eating or sleeping just looking out those sliders! You’ll adjust fine and will love it here. Plus, without all that yard to take care of, your Peeps will be able to devote more time to you!!!

We don’t like carpeting, either! But it looks like this new temporary home is just what you need! Send us some more pics once you are setttled. You will be just fine here.

There doesn’t appear to be enough room in the back yard to raise dillies.

Sweet litttle Winston you are going to have fun adventures and great ‘sniffing’ in your new ‘digs’. Your peeps will be with you, and that is all that matters ♥

Hey Winston – great new place; you will love the carpet once you get your smell all over it! Tell the two legged ones to put some fuzzy blankies on the new carpets for you. And you will love resting in the sunbeams from that new patio window. Aarrooo – Ozzy & Callie

  8. Humphrey & Cherry says:

We agree – carpeting is not for us either – but maybe just one room? Anyway looks nice so far – make sure to put your ‘stamp’ on all and give it a good try..Good Luck in your new place!
