So close, yet so far away…

Huummm….Maybe one day, he’ll figure out how to jump up on the sofa to grab that bag of luscious dog treats. Lamb and apple treats from Arcana. YUM. (At least I think they’re a YUM the way he wants them so badly!)

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Humphrey has learned and thinks he is the ‘cats meow’ getting on the couch for treats. Somehow nothing is safe anymore. We are sure Winston will make to the ‘top’ soon! Best – Humphrey and Cherry

  2. Christina says:

Oh my goodness, you are too cute!! Keep trying! You can do it!!!

  3. rjkeyedup says:

Ahh Winston my lad, I see you are not a jumper on couches like me…. you are more like my sister who loves to bark but stays down low….. I’m sure Peeptress will soon give in and give you a treat!

  4. theguster says:

I thought I had the only Scottie who didn’t jump onto the furniture! Well, I see Ozzy doesn’t either!
Maybe Winston won’t be a jumper after all! My other two Scotties were both jumpers. I don’t encourage Finley either, at a year and a half now I guess that’s how he’ll be…and I’m not complaining!

  5. nordhuesn says:

Duffy only jumped on the couch in the winter to lay with me. Andy jumps on everything. He will figure it out before too long. Such a cutie pie!

  6. You needs a boost dude? I’ll be right overs….

Winston, Finnegan would be more than happy to go to your house and show you how to get to those treats really quickly!

  9. Kismet says:

He’s saying “please”. He doesn’t just take something that isn’t his.

  10. Donna says:

That is a a very polite boy asking for his treat!!

  11. Sue Ellen says:

Time…all it takes is a little more time and Winston will up and eating those treats you have on the sofa. Give him a little snuggle for me please !♥
