This is Winston’s favorite napping place. Under this particular dining room chair. Every time I pass by, I wonder if he’s happy, bored or not feeling so well because he’s sleeping.
Then, I remember he’s still a puppy. Only a year and a half old. DUH.

About The Scottie Chronicles
Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!
Me too! Finley is 1 year and 8 mos. and I have to catch myself. He has a few favorite spots he goes to and thinks, watches and naps in. They must feel safe there and can still see what is going on at home and what us peeps are up to! We comfort them, but they are a comfort to us also!
Growing boys need their nappies. Such angels when they sleep, right?
Puppy, five year old, 7 year old, older old…. napping is one of their favorite things to do – usually under the dining room chair, or on the couch, or by your feet! Heaven having my scotties around.
Napping is the favorite hobby of the Corkscot Scotties. They are 4, 8, and11.
Naps followed by zoomies, then another nap.
Still napping at 4-1/2 – great stuff under dining room chairs – our table has legs you can fit in — Carry on Winston man – always good for naps! — Humphrey
Most dogs sleep a lot. Peeps have an advantage because they sleep at work.
