A Ringside Seat

a birds eye viewWooooo weeeeeee….it can’t be better than this. Waiting for the mailman. See him? I sure do.

And I want him to know I’m here. Just in case he thinks he can get away with coming over to Our house. No way.

What You Learned Today:

  • If you haven’t figured it out already, I can’t stand the mail people.
  • It’s those big bags they carry.
  • I’m sure they’re nice peeps and all, but, no way.
  • Not on my watch.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  2. Braeden and Seth says:

Wow Stuart! What a nice place to sit and wait for the dreaded mailman. You’re lucky, we have to watch from behind the glass door. And what restraint you showed not going in the street after him! No more Sing-Sing for you!

  3. Oh my word. Are you not scared he might not deliver YOU a package? I would be afraid the eBay man would skip us.

  4. digitalgranny says:

You tell him you little cutie you.

  5. Daisy says:

Good work, Stuart! You let them know who the boss is. We always bark at everyone who thinks he can invade OUR turf.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

SHE thinks you were very good to stay on your side of the road.

Someone has to protect the mailbox!

  7. Kyla says:

That’s good for a beginning student. The next course teaches you how to shred the bills and keep the checks.

  8. That’s exactly what we do, Stuart! Our job is to alert our mom that the mailman is going but we do it from inside the house!

    Love ya lots♥
    Mitch and Molly

  9. I love our mail lady!!!! She always brings us treats!

  10. Misaki says:

LOL Staurt, you certainly told him!
You should give them a chance though, they are usually very nice (my daddy is one!)

  11. Here we have the vice-versa case: the mailman can’t stand me. My dad has to pick up our mail at the post office now. What a chicken! (the mailman)

  12. FIERCE STU!!! And we LOVE your ambush tactics!!
    Wally & Sammy

  14. Gizmo says:

You know Stuart i love my mail lady…she brings me parcels of good stuff all the time and she even brings me treats…maybe it’s time to call a truce

  15. Fergus and Guinness says:

You sure barked him away, we could see him retreat down the street. We bark at our mail lady too even tho she brought our mom a nice pin that looked like us she found at a flea market. She left the fleas elsewhere, just wanted to make that part clear.

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
