I love me some Hungry Girl. (If you consumed too much Howl-o-Weenie treats last night, you might like Hungry Girl, too.) Did you know that today is National Cook for Your Pet Day? If Hungry Girl says so, it’s true. She knows all things cooking.

ArooooOOO BooooooOOOOOOO!
We had so many trick or treaters last night. More than ever I think. It was tough to greet them without Stuart with us at the door. The first year after the loss of a love could be the hardest, don’t you think?
I have to say that with all of the negativity in the today’s world, I was so surprised happy to see so many well-mannered children. Every young person who came to our door was polite, grateful and, well, just wonderful. Siblings helped siblings, friends helped friends and made sure all in their groups got treats. (Go figure!) So many “thank you’s” and “Happy Halloweens” I just couldn’t get over it.
Parents and caregivers, you’re doing a great job! And the Dad Peep and I now have a restored faith in humanity. If we could just get this political campaign over with…one more week. Thank dawgness there weren’t any political costumes in our neighborhood last night.
Now, back to Hungry Girl, take a look at this video and make some of THESE treats for your pals!
To our friends in Mexico, Happy Dia de Muertos!
So cute!
Something good is going on Peeptress…. mommy me and Callie had the same experience with the trick or treaters yesterday – cute, polite, thankful! Aroooo for the Hungry Girl site. xxoo
I’ve got mom under my control in this house. She cooks for me

I thought the same thing about the manners of the trick-or-treaters. It is great to see! I am so sorry about your sadness of missing Stuart this Halloween! I can’t even imagine!
I tried on the last “Cook for your peeps” day (every February 30). My bird seed fricasee wasn’t received well.
