What will happen to me?

Thank you Peepstress for sprucing up my new bedroom. But when are we going to stop going back and forth and stay here forever?

Well Winston, the Dad Peep and I are glad you like your new home. We’ll be settled in the new house very soon.

Will we still have all the boxes with things in them that keep coming and going too?

No. Thank goodness. Those boxes will go away.

But will I go away too? What will happen to me?

Precious puppy, we’ll be together like three peas in a pod.

Pee? No thank you. I don’t have to go, but thanks for asking.

Moving is such a bother. And quite confusing for a pup. Lucy and Mac get upset when we move furniture around ! This week we had painters here and that really concerned them. Mac took up ‘camping’ in the screened porch. Lucy followed him. So, Winston, this to shall pass. And you will soon be settled in at your new ‘digs’ enjoying life with your peeps.

We moved the kennels into our bedroom this week from the laundry room due to workers being here. This created so much hoooweling and arooooing you’d have thought we were abusing them. Don’t worry little man, your peeps are never going to leave your side.

Winston, not to worry. The best is yet to come. You three will soon settle in, explore the neighborhood, meet neighbors, make new friends, and have lots of new adventures, smells and dirt to dig in. We’re all happy and excited for you because we will get to read all about it!

Moving is scary. Mom had a crash pad in the city where she was working when she married Dad – 4 hours away. She commuted until she could transfer to Chicago. But her new neighbors were horribly noisy so she moved to a more expensive (insulation!) townhouse and I had to move again, after just getting rescued. But she did it in slow increments, taking me with her as she hauled stuff (it was only a mile away) and I adjusted. I hope you love your new home.
