It’s a fine day here at Dogtona as we await the second of the day’s two racing events.
Let’s remember the reason for the season – to wish the Barkday Boys a Happy Barkday and of course we’re talking about that 2-year-old rascal from Carolina, Ranger, and the big, bad Stuart who hails from RIR territory.
No RIR necessary for these races ’cause we’ve got all we need here at Dogtona.
We’re Finn and Wally, your announcers for the day. We’re recuperating from the excitement of the morning when we called the Junior Race. Congratulations Greta!

Joining us again from this morning’s race are the lovely and talented Mollie, who’ll start us in just a moment and the wacky Pit Crew from ArOOOOOzona, Kaci and Kali, whose sister, Kyla, is keeping everyone under control (really?) in the pace car.
And the fans…oh the fans… waiting breathlessly as they were this morning. They can’t wait for the excitement to continue. Let’s hope we’ve seen the last of that evil interloper:

Before we get started, we need to tell you about two additional entries in the Senior Race. Because of technical difficulties in the registration process, Dewars and Winston, two young drivers, are now racing in the Senior category.
We’ve fired the registration crew so that this won’t happen again. Ever.
OK…time to get started.

Here’s Sarge in his Plymouth Hemi Cuda. Impressive!
Truman Huckstep in his firey Pontiac Firebird in lane 2.
Here’s Hazel in her vintage mobile in lane 3. Can she keep up the winning streak for the Pug Ranch?
Check out Piper Mac T in this Lotus in lane 4.
What have we here? It’s Timmy Tomcat in lane 5. A purrrfect addition to the field.
It’s the birthday boy himself in lane 6. Don’t fall asleep at the wheel Stuart.
Sidney’s ready in lane 7.
Dewars is looking tough and ready to go in lane 8!
Duffy MacGreagor is taking a different approach in lane 9. Driving a remote controlled auto!
Winston joins us from Modern Scottie Dog in lane 10.
Wait folks! Another purrrrfect racer in lane 11. It’s Sammy!
Rounding out the field in lane 12 is our dual entry – Jazzi and Addi.

Sarge is out in front and it’s no wonder in that Cuda! Piper’s overtaking….Duffy’s keeping everyone at bay to stay in third…no second place.
What’s this? Stuart is pooped. Is he gone for the day?

It’s Timmy Tomcat from outta nowhere! Did you see that folks??? Jazzi and Addi are hot on his wheels and Hazel is gaining.

Truman grazed the sidelines and rubber’s burning all over the place…Sidney is keeping up a good pace but Sammy’s gaining…

Stuart’s pulled into the pit for some R&R.

Lap 4 is outrageous! Hazel’s gaining after her sister’s performance earlier today! Winston’s not letting go.
