Guess My Weight: We’ve Got a Tie!

bowlerSo, it’s Friday’s Foto Fun Day and it’s also time to reveal my weight and announce the big winner. Make that winners…..two of you came THIS CLOSE to each other’s guesses, and SO close to my weight, that We decided to award TWO guesses.

Now, first, you ALL deserve a big thank you for playing along in this little game. It was fun, wasn’t it? Y’all are so nice and full of compliments for lil’ ole’ moi. I blushed as I read each comment. And I learned a lot about what other Scotties weigh. Interesting. (I also learned that you guys are pretty funny! You make me laugh….)

THANK YOU for playing this guessing game!

When We arrived at the dogtor on Monday, the peeps were nervous. Me? I didn’t care. Up on the scale I went. With my collar on, mind you. (I gotta weigh that thing some day to see how much I can shave off the total.)

When the weight was announced, the peeps went wild. YIPPEEEEEE! they said. We had a little pawty in the lobby and I got lots and lots of treats. (Go figure. Here I am trying to lose weight and everybody gives me treats.)

But, when We got into the little examining room, Dr. Elliott said, “What’s all the celebration?”

“We’re so happy about Stuart’s weight!”

“Well, let’s take a look.”

“See how wonderful this is?”

“Well, not so much, he’s only down about a half pound. But at least he hasn’t gained any.”

Talk about a buzz kill. Ta dum. Bada Bing.

The peeps are happy nonetheless. I weigh 22.8 pounds or just over 10 kg. (Thanks Piper MacT.)

Let’s face it Dogtor Elliott, I’m never, ever gonna get down to 20 or 21 pounds. It ain’t gonna happen.

Congratulations to Kuruk with a guess of 22 lbs. and Lucy & Mac with a guess of 23.5 pounds.

Now. You know what to do: send me your snail mail address to: StuartTheScottie@hotmail.com and you, too, can enjoy your own set of StuART greeting cards!*

Wooooot!!!!! ArrrOOOoooOOOOOOO!

*Who knows? Maybe one day my e-store will be open and everybody can buy them. And other cool StuART stuff.

  4. Duffy, Andrew & Elsa says:

Wow, that’s great! Congrats to the weiners 🙂 Duffy weighs in at 25 lbs and Andy is a slim and trim 22 lbs. Duffy will be eatin some green beans for awhile for sure.

    • The weiners….LOL…

Hey, I don’t disagree with my dogtor much, but I really think I can’t be any thinner than this and I don’t think y’all should worry. So there.

      • Duffy, Andrew & Elsa says:

Our Dogtor just saw me, Duffy, yesterday. Mum did ask her about the um, errr weight thing and she said I was mostly all muscle, and she wasn’t concerned. Muscle! I have muscle and wasn’t even liftin’ weights, go figure.

  5. Bonnie n Kenzie says:

We think that’s pretty svelte for a Scottie guy,
I weigh 25 lbs and Kenzie weighs 17…probably a bit over…she’s so wiggly it’s hard to tell.
    Bonnie…the (not so) wee Scottie!

  6. corkscot says:

That is ideal for Scottie males. Congratulations on your svelte body.

  7. Kuruk says:

Holy Batman, Stuart, TWO winners! Congratulations to Kuruk & Lucy & Mac! That’s awesome!

I can’t imagine you being overweight at 22.8 lbs. I was 22 lbs. a year ago when I first got here – now I am almost 26 lbs. and my dogtor said I needed those extra pounds. Maybe I am big boned? You look just fine. My peep always says ‘The camera adds 10 lbs.’

Your contest was fun, we liked the suspense!

    McDuff & Mom

  10. Wow Stuart that is great! You made your parents do a happy dance, got extra treats and we all had fun! Concats to Ku and Lucy & Mac! We all think you are perfect in every way!

  11. Tobias,Cherry, Shadow says:

  12. Kyla says:

Nothing wrong with 22.8. Just less of Stu to love.

  13. Whitley says:

22 pounds are good – dat are just a couple more dan me!

  14. Daisy says:

Lookin’ gooood! Blame my peep for guessing too much. We thought Scotties under 25 were fine! We think you are in tip top shape and a very handsome Scottie!
    oxox

  15. Funny you want to weigh your collar. Fergus and Guinness weighed in at 30 and 25 # on Fri. I thought that a lot so I weighrd their harness on Doc Pokeys scale. It was .6 or almost half a pound. Bet you can subtract at least .4 off.

  16. Congrats to the winners!!! Sorry for guessing 28#…. if you were a girl I would be on the black list now… hahahaha.

  17. Piper MacT says:

10 Kilos is well within the acceptable range for a male Scottie. Tell your Dogtor, my Dogtor says so.

  18. Dalton says:

Well done to the winners, and I love that your peeps celebrated that you had lost weight by feeding you lots of treats!

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
