About the hypoallergenic issue: I am highly allergic to cats and somewhat allergic to most dogs, with the exception of Terriers. Over the course of many years I have resided with a Scottie, several Westies, a Cairn and a Terrier muttsky, and never had one allergy problem with any of them. Shedding has always been minimal to not even noticeable, none have ever had a greasy/oily feeling, and there is zero doggy odor even when wet. Combine all of this with their wonderful personalities, love and companionship, and they are the complete, total, best “package” ever!!!!
That is so true. Never an odor. Never a problem. I’m allergic to cats, too. And was once told that I’m also allergic to dogs. But you’d never know it with a Scottie around.
Also allergic to cats and dogs! Edgar has never bothered me though…and even if he did, I probably would not care!
