Let’s Bake Cookies in the Car!

Ah... it's a little cooler down here.

I know I’ve talked about this ad nauseam, but bear with me just a while longer, OK? Here goes: IT’S TOO HOT.

Where I live, shelters have been opened for people with no access to cool things off like fans or air conditioners. And my peeps have to cut the grass in the late evening so They don’t pass out. And when They take me out for a walk in the evening, She takes a baggy filled with ice cubes for me.

And I think I heard somewhere that it’s so hot, you can bake cookies on the dashboard of your car.

Yes. You read that correctly.

Me? I’m chillin’ in Her office. In the basement of Our house. It’s cooler down here. And that torn up toy in the picture? That’s my old Taco Bell dog. I tore the stuffing out of it, but I still like to attack it every now and again.

Y’all stay cool out there.

What You Learned Today:

  • In case you haven’t noticed, there really is such a thing as global warming.
  • If there’s not, why is the weather doing such silly stuff?
  • We haven’t had more than an thimble full of rain where I live for almost 30 days.
  • Think I’ll go make some cookies in the car.
  • Naw. On second thought, I’ll just stay here in the basement where it’s cooler.

Hey Stuart…HOT here too….Mumster is pretty good about keepin’ it cool in the house…that’s where I hang out. Enough already with the 100 degree temps…Geez…..My French Bulldog sista “Poppy” has pnuemonia so this hot and humid weather is just terrible for her breathing…she doesn’t sport the same handsome nose as we do, her’s is barely there. I’m a good brother I watch over her, help out the Mumster out when I can…always good for a cookie or some dry roasted lamb treats.

    Stay cool Stu –
    Saxby

I beg to differ on the so-called global warming. Weather will go in cycles. But God is in control. When growing up there was always stifling summer heat, more, long-lasting snow and lots of tornadoes. This hoax has lined the pockets of many. As one wise man said, beware the prophet that profits, (Al Gore ring a bell?) People and dogs need to look after each other and let the government butt out. 😉

  5. Daisy says:

You just have to stay cool there, little buddy. Wish we could send you some cool breezes. We’ve gone back to overcast, cool days. Just hibernate.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

  6. Piper MacT says:

The Rhine Valley has cooled down the last few weeks, todays high was only 21°C and its 13°C now at 23:30. Here’s hoping it stays that way for the rest of the week at least. Hope you can stay cool Stuart.

  7. Hoke says:

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
