Frankly, I think there’s something up with the voting. See, there was this Boston Terrier in the lead for a couple of days with more than 300 votes. Today, he’s gone. Poof! Whassup with that? How do you just vanish from voting world? Did he renege on a campaign promise? Did he fail to raise enough money to stay in the race? Did he cheat on his partner of a billion years and lie about it? Did he post questionable pictures of himself on the Internet? Wha???

The sports columnist (yes – I said “columnist” as in singular – it’s a small paper) wrote about moving the Flying Squirrels to a downtown stadium that doesn’t exist, that has no parking and that people won’t travel to come to. Off topic, I know, but I thought your peep would get a kick out of it.

She still has season tickets to an NFL team (which shall remain nameless because it is actually numbers) that is moving to a new stadium. These tickets have been in the family since the team was formed and Her family lived next door to the founders. The 2 seats are, as you can surmise, better than excellent. For all these years of loyalty and enduring many dismal seasons plus the sucesses, She has been asked to help with the new place’s finances-a mandatory PSL (personal seat license) that will give her the right to buy tickets. Only 160K for 2 seats. No thanks.
