Watercolor Wednesday: Are We There Yet?

Dogs love to travel. Most dogs anyway. Stuart was no exception. Get out the crate or his “bucket”, and he was ready for action.

Me, too.

These days I’ve been thinking, “boy, can’t wait to get this new year started. time for a fresh attitude”.

But, it’s not the New Year yet. It’s still 2016. This December has been the looongest month. Stuck in time.

And I’m not sure 2017 is going to be any better.

Are we there yet?

Hang on. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.

PeeS: The Dad Peep and I snuck out of town for a long Christmas weekend. When we got back, there was lots of mail. And I have a feeling much of it is from you. Emails, too. From our house to yours, we wish you warm wishes of friendship and thanks.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Not Kali. She goes down where the peeps’ feet go and hides. That’s tough in the Scottiemobile that has no back seat and she likes the driver’s side.

Mom’s neighbors laugh at her. She buckles us all up in harnesses in the back seat. When they see us on the street they ask if she’s taking the “kids” for a ride. We know what R i d e spells. She doesn’t fool us anymore!
